TikTok Shop Fee Calculator

Referral commission, creator affiliate fees, and ad spend — netted out per order and per month.

Quick answer

On a $25 order at an 8% referral fee with a 15% creator commission, TikTok Shop and your affiliate take $5.75 between them — 23.0% of the order before product cost, shipping, or ads. The creator cut is usually the larger number, and unlike the referral fee you do not get it back on a refund.

How TikTok Shop fees work

TikTok Shop's fee structure is short but front-loaded. A referral commission comes off every order — in the US that single charge also covers payment processing — and on top of it sits whatever affiliate rate you offer creators.

That second number is the one that decides the business. A 15% creator commission on top of an 8% referral fee means 23% of the order is committed before product cost, shipping, or paid ads, and the creator's share is not recovered when the buyer returns the item. High-refund categories with generous affiliate rates can look profitable per order and lose money per month, which is exactly what the monthly view here is for.

One honest caveat: TikTok publishes its US fee schedule inside Seller Center rather than on the open web. Every other rate on this site links to a public page with a verification date. Rather than present an unverifiable number as though it were verified, this calculator makes the referral rate an editable field, defaulted to the standard rate reported since August 2026. Confirm yours in Seller Center and change it.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does TikTok Shop charge sellers?+
A referral commission on each order, which in the US also covers payment processing. TikTok publishes its US schedule inside Seller Center rather than openly, so this calculator treats the rate as an input rather than citing one: the 8% default reflects the standard non-food rate widely reported since August 2026, with beauty and some electronics higher and jewellery lower. Check your own rate and change the field.
How does creator commission work?+
Affiliate commission is a rate you set, paid to the creator whose content drove the sale. Sellers commonly offer 5-20%. It stacks on top of the referral fee, so a 15% creator rate on an 8% referral fee means 23% of the order is gone before you have paid for the product.
Do I get fees back when an order is refunded?+
Referral fees are generally credited on a refunded order. Creator commission on a refunded sale is not something you recover, which is why a high affiliate rate combined with a high refund rate is more punishing than either alone. Set both here and the monthly view shows the combined drag.
Why is your TikTok rate an input when other calculators fix theirs?+
Because every other rate on this site links to a page the platform publishes openly, with the date we checked it. TikTok does not publish its US fee schedule outside Seller Center, so hardcoding a number would mean presenting an unverifiable figure with the same confidence as a verified one. The input keeps the tool useful without pretending.
